5. Sources and Editorial Method

Content Origin

The descriptive pages published in TenerifePulse (places to visit, attractions, cities, natural sites, cultural traditions) are written by TenerifePulse's editorial team from multiple public sources, cross-referenced and synthesized according to a documented method.

Primary sources consulted include, without limitation:

  • Tenerife official tourism site (Cabildo de Tenerife)
  • Canary Islands official tourism site (Gobierno de Canarias)
  • Cabildo de Tenerife institutional site (tenerife.es)
  • TITSA public transport network for transport information
  • Official establishment websites for rates and hours
  • Wikipedia (under CC-BY-SA license) for public historical data
  • Public Francophone editorial guides consulted for cross-validation

Factual data (rates, hours, geographic coordinates, transport lines, historical dates, official classifications) are not protected by copyright and are extracted per usage guidelines.

Descriptions, advice, and analysis are written by TenerifePulse based on source synthesis and editorial value (comparative analysis, operational advice, use-case prioritization, estimated visit duration).

Reliability Commitment

TenerifePulse endeavors to maintain current information. However, prices, hours, and access conditions may change without notice. It is recommended to verify critical information with relevant establishments before any travel.

TenerifePulse is not liable for changes between page update date and consultation date, nor for discrepancies with on-site information provided by operators.

Reporting and Correction

Any information deemed inaccurate may be reported via the "Report an error" function on each page or via the Community page. Reports are processed within 7 business days.

Intellectual Property – Claims

TenerifePulse respects third-party intellectual property rights. If you believe content published reproduces a work you own rights to, contact us via the Community page.

Admissible claims must include:

  • Precise identification of disputed content (URL, page title)
  • Identification of the claimed original work (URL, publication date, proof of priority)
  • A good faith declaration
  • Claimant contact information

Admissible claims will be reviewed within 5 business days and, if founded, removed or corrected within 48 hours.

6. Public Data and Third-Party Sources

Some information may come from public or institutional sources, including weather, events, or practical information. Rights attached to this data remain reserved to their respective holders.

8. Limitation of Liability

Information, suggestions, hours, prices, weather data, and recommendations in TenerifePulse are provided for informational purposes only. You remain solely responsible for verifying essential information before any decision, travel, reservation, or purchase.

Outdoor activities and swimming

Visiting the natural sites featured in the service (beaches, natural pools, trails, coastal or mountain areas) and swimming are done at your own risk. Swim only where access is open and officially authorised, and always comply with official signage, flags, closures, and instructions from local authorities and rescue services, which prevail at all times over any information displayed in the service.

TenerifePulse is not liable for accidents, personal injury, or material damage occurring at natural sites, whether supervised or not, nor for decisions made by users based on information from the service.

Weather and sea-condition data

Weather and sea-state indications (including labels such as "calm", "moderate", "rough" and displayed indexes) are indicative estimates based on third-party sources and automated processing. They are neither a guarantee of actual conditions, nor exhaustive real-time data, nor an authorisation or encouragement to swim. Only conditions observed on site and official signage prevail.

9. AI Guide

The AI Guide in TenerifePulse is based on an automated artificial intelligence system. Its responses are generated automatically and do not constitute professional advice, personalized human opinion, or result guarantee. You remain solely responsible for how you use the responses provided.
