A small cove of gravel and black sand, fully closed off by a curved breakwater, on the Punta Larga seafront in Candelaria. The rock barrier blocks the swell, so the water is calm and shallow, making it a reassuring bathing pool for families. A promenade lined with tall palm trees, wooden solarium platforms, a shower, a kiosk and a playground nearby, and a walkway out to a platform over the sea. A neighbourhood feel, with very few tourists.
