Playa La Jaquita, on Alcalá's seafront promenade (Guía de Isora), combines a small black-sand bathing beach with volcanic natural pools along the coast — awarded the Blue Flag. Lifeguard on duty 11am-7pm in summer (1 June-30 September) and 10am-6pm the rest of the year — follow the flag code (red: no swimming, yellow: caution, green: swimming allowed) and stay alert to currents and swell, as the beach carries warnings for drowning risk and slippery rocks. Outside lifeguard hours, swim at your own risk. Prohibited on site: fires, camping, pets, ball games, taking sand or pebbles. Emergency: 112.
