On 20 January, a public holiday in Adeje, the municipality celebrates San Sebastián. In previous years, the festivities combined a Mass and procession with a romería, where horses and other animals receive a blessing, along with the traditional horse bathing on La Enramada beach in La Caleta. The date of the romería varies from year to year. The 2027 programme has not yet been published.
