Tablas de San Andrés de Icod de los Vinos

On St Andrew's feast, the people of Icod de los Vinos race down the steep streets of the old town sitting on greased wooden boards. This "arrastre de las tablas" is the town's most distinctive tradition, linked to the opening of the new wine. It takes place on the eve and the day of San Andrés, 29 and 30 November. The 2026 programme (times, streets) has not yet been published by the town hall: we will add it as soon as it is out.
