La Tejita is Tenerife's most famous naturist beach, but it welcomes everyone - families, walkers, and lovers of raw landscapes. Nestled against the Montaña Roja volcano, this black sand beach stretches in a wild crescent with no umbrellas, sun loungers for rent, restaurants, or showers. Just sand, sea, and wind. It's precisely this lack of excess that attracts its regulars. The bay's configuration creates moderately rough waters, suitable for strong swimmers but not recommended for very young children. The Montaña Roja volcano can be climbed in 30 minutes from the parking lot: the summit offers a clear view over both beaches and the southern coast. Accessible only by car or bus 470 from Los Cristianos. Ideal for a day away from crowds, with your own picnic.
