Playa del Muelle is a small sheltered beach inside Puerto de la Cruz's fishing harbour, protected by the harbour breakwater. About 50 metres long and 15 metres wide, it mixes pebbles and dark sand. The water is particularly calm, among the moored fishing boats — a spot popular with groups of young people or families who dive off the harbour quays. The statue of La Pescadora overlooks the beach. Showers and over 100 free parking spaces nearby.

The water is protected by the harbour breakwater and almost always flat: it's the best choice in town centre with young children when the swell is too strong at Martiánez. Watch out, the seabed drops quickly near the boat quay.
